More Teen Mom UK for MTV

LONDON: MTV UK has recommissioned the documentary series Teen Mom UK for an eight-episode second season.

Teen Mom UK, which first aired in November 2016, peaked with an audience of 265,000, the highest ever for an episode of the Teen Mom franchise to date. Teen Mom UK 2 will continue to be produced by Manchester-based production house True North.

“The huge success of Teen Mom UK has served to strengthen MTV UK’s long track record for re-versioning U.S. hits to appeal to a local audience,” commented Jill Offman, the managing director at MTV UK. “We’re so excited to be bringing the show back for a second series and will continue to capture all the joys and challenges that come with young motherhood.”
