Momentum Continues for Watch! Format

Media Ranch has inked ten deals for its format Watch! in three weeks, including agreements with Bunim/Murray for the U.S. and Banijay’s RDF/Fizz for the U.K.

Banijay Group’s Bunim/Murray Productions licensed Watch! for the U.S. and RDF/Fizz acquired the format for the U.K. Meanwhile, Warner acquired the show for Denmark, ITV picked it up for Sweden and Endemol Shine took Watch! for Italy as well as Spain and Portugal.

These new agreements follow on recent deals with Talpa Germany, WeMake from France and Matchbox Pictures from Australia.

Watch! was created by producers John Kirhoffer and Dan Munday. It mixes emotional and world-class performances with a high-stakes game show requiring memory skills.

Media Ranch’s founder, president and executive producer, Sophie Ferron, said: “We have never seen such a fast selling format as Watch! and are thrilled that industry powerhouses around the world have partnered with Media Ranch for this show. We had several major companies bidding in these territories and believe we found the right partners for the best success! Media Ranch has rightly earned the reputation as the unique go-to company for content creators, producers and broadcasting platforms—attracting and fostering the best talent in the world.”
