CANNES: Last spring, Little Big Shots launched on NBC in the U.S., and Warner Bros. International Television Production is showcasing the program at MIPTV.

The series is now “a globally successful entertainment format, with over ten new versions in production this year,” says Andrew Zein, the senior VP of creative, format development and sales at Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP). “We’ve seen incredible success with the format in Colombia, Belgium, Italy, Mexico and, of course, the U.K. We look forward to working with our broadcast and production partners as Little Big Shots goes from strength to strength.”

Another top Warner Bros. format is First Dates, which has reached 300 episodes as a stripped show for Cuatro in Spain. Meanwhile, the factual-entertainment format In Search of the Condor is billed as a hybrid between a nature show and reality competition. The series originated in the Netherlands and a local production recently aired in Sweden on SVT1.
