Magnify Media is set to release a slate of new scripted and unscripted formats at its live New Formats Showcase on October 5.

Produced by Story Productions for DR3, Love Raft sees ten singletons spend ten days sailing down a river on a raft, meeting with the others for festivities around a campfire. It ultimately seeks to answer the question: Can nature help us fall in love?

Two of a Kind, from Bermuda Productions for TV2, is a guessing game show format where three property experts compete against each other to guess the price tags of uncannily identical homes around the country.

From Joined Up Films for SBS, Is My Country Prejudiced? looks at a different nationwide survey each episode. The anonymous surveys focus on topics like ageism, racism, sexism, obesity and disability. It also features a series of experiments captured on camera to reveal terrible behavior, but also the courage of those who stand up in the face of prejudice.

A character-driven scripted comedy, In the Army Now centers on new recruits to the armed forces. A comedy actor plays a series of recurring characters, including a recruit who has watched too many Rambo movies, an over-sexed female psychopath and a spoiled brat who brings his own silk sheets.

Norwegian-ish, from NRK Productions for NRK, tells the story of three young adults with roots in four cultures. It is an often-funny but sometimes painful exploration of the second-generation immigrant experience.

Andrea Jackson, CEO of Magnify Media, said, “We pride ourselves on seeking out distinctive formats that capture an idea or experience that resonates across cultures. Each of these formats has a recognizable truth at the heart of the idea that gives the format meaning or that makes it funny. We are excited to launch these new formats at our online Formats Showcase on Tuesday, October 5.”
