Impractical Jokers Lands 14th Adaptation

TV3 Group has commissioned a local Lithuanian version of Warner Bros. International Television Production’s (WBITVP) Impractical Jokers.

This marks the 14th adaptation for hidden camera prank show, which was originally created by the American comedy troupe The Tenderloins. In each episode, comedian friends compete to embarrass each other in public with outrageous dares.

The Lithuanian iteration will star Antanas Sadauskas, Markas Žukauskas, Simanas Žurauskas and Viktoras Balykovas.

The original U.S. version has 11 seasons and more than 300 episodes, as well as numerous spin-offs and specials. Internationally, the format has been adapted in the U.K., the Netherlands, Greece, Mexico, Sweden and Australia, among others. In Australia, The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers, produced by WBITVP Australia, recently returned for its third season.
