Fremantle Promotes for Global Entertainment Production

Jane Atkinson has been promoted to the role of director of global production for entertainment at Fremantle.

In her new position, Atkinson will manage the department’s various production support functions for unscripted and expand the company’s global production management network. She will also be responsible for overseeing Fremantle’s growing unscripted business with global streaming platforms.

Atkinson previously held the position of senior VP of global entertainment production at Fremantle. Prior to her roles at Fremantle, she was line producer at BBC Entertainment and Events for ten years.

In her new role, Atkinson will report to Chris O’Dell, Fremantle’s head of global entertainment production.

O’Dell said: “Jane has been an invaluable addition to both Fremantle’s global entertainment team and the wider business since she joined in 2018. I’m delighted to welcome her to this key new leadership role.”

Atkinson said: “I’m thrilled to take on this newly created position and continue to champion the role of production management across our global business.”
