FOX Renews MasterChef for 14th Season

FOX has ordered a 14th season of its hit cooking competition series MasterChef, with Gordon Ramsay returning as host and judge alongside Aarón Sánchez and Joe Bastianich.

MasterChef is now accepting casting applications for the upcoming season from amateur home cooks with a range of cooking styles from all backgrounds. Applicants must be 18 years or older as of October 8, 2023.

The renewal comes in the middle of the 13th season, known as MasterChef: United Tastes of America, which just saw the broadcast of the series’ 250th episode. The special episode saw the judges present an oversized table in the shape of the United States, full of an array of elaborate cakes from four regions of America. Each cake needed to be precisely recreated by the cooks.

MasterChef is produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato. It is based on a format created by Franc Roddam.

MasterChef is a beloved staple of the FOX brand,” said Allison Wallach, president of unscripted programming at FOX Entertainment. “Of course, our incredible partner Gordon Ramsay, together with Aarón Sánchez, Joe Bastianich and Endemol Shine North America, continue to make MasterChef the massive success it is, and we are proud to renew it for its 14th season.”
