Video Interview with filmpool’s Felix Wesseler

Felix Wesseler, director of operations at filmpool entertainment, explains to TV Formats’ Anna Carugati the approach of using amateur actors in real situations to get a show that is authentic, original and has “good dramatic storytelling.”

The German production outfit filmpool entertainment has made a name for itself in the international market with its stable of constructed-reality formats. Its hits such as Day and Night, Families at the Crossroads and Cases of Doubt—all sold by all3media international—have struck a chord in particular with viewers across Central and Eastern Europe. Earlier this year, all3media international licensed Families at the Crossroads into Latin America, marking the first constructed-reality commission in the region.
