Expectation has partnered with David Flynn’s Plegazoid to create entertainment formats in the game-show and reality space for U.K. networks and streamers.

Plegazoid is behind ITV’s upcoming quiz show Time Is Money. Before setting up Plegazoid, Flynn founded Youngest Media, where he launched formats such as Small Fortune, Game of Clones, HouseShare, The Search and Surprize Fund.

Prior to that, Flynn was chief creative officer at Endemol UK, where he was responsible for formats such as The Million Pound Drop, Pointless, 7 Days on the Breadline, The Bank Job and The Singer Takes It All.

Expectation’s format catalog features In With A Shout, I Literally Just Told You and This is MY House. Recent commissions include The Dyers’ Caravan Park (w.t.), How I Made a Million in 90 Days and How to Trick Your Way onto the Property Ladder.

“David has created some of the most successful game shows ever made, wildly original reality formats, and above all else: huge hits,” said Ben Wicks, creative director of entertainment at Expectation. “His shows have cemented themselves into the schedules for decades and been sold to so many countries even David himself would struggle to name them all. In short, nothing is guaranteed in life—apart from David Flynn coming up with un-turndownable formats, and we are elated to be working together on his next dazzling array of hit shows.”

Flynn commented, “Ben and the development team at Expectation are a really creative and talented bunch, and we share a vision about the type of formats which cut through with audiences in the U.K. and travel internationally. I’m looking forward to joining forces and delivering our next hit together.”
