Endemol Shine Group has licensed the rights for the entertainment format All Together Now to Rossiya 1.

Weit Media, an Endemol Shine Group company, will create a 9×1-hour run of the show for broadcast later in 2019. Originally created by Remarkable Television, the show has previously sold in Brazil, Australia and CEE.

The format has also been recommissioned in Denmark, with the sophomore run of the series set to film later this year after becoming Kanal 5’s highest-rated premiere in two years. All Together Now debuted on BBC One in January of last year, and its second season premieres tomorrow on the network.

The show sees a range of vocal performers sing in front of The 100, an audience of singers who, if they like what they hear, will stand up and sing along. The more members of The 100 that join in, the higher the act’s score; the performance with the highest score at the end of the series wins a sizeable cash prize.

Lisa Perrin, CEO of creative networks at Endemol Shine Group, said, “All Together Now has achieved phenomenal success in the year since its U.K. launch due to its celebratory, inclusive feel-good factor. It’s the ultimate joyful family format, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the team in Russia do with it and to welcome it back to BBC One tomorrow night.”

Yulia Sumacheva, CEO of Weit Media, added, “It’s not often a format like All Together Now comes around; it’s a fresh new take on the singing genre that has delivered great ratings for major broadcasters around the world. We have seen our colleagues create successful adaptations in their markets, and we have no doubt that it will be equally popular with Rossiya 1 viewers.”
