Big Brother Italy to Use New Microsoft Technology

Endemol Shine Group has revealed that Big Brother Italy will be the first of its formats to use a new cloud-based production workflow system built on Microsoft Azure since the two companies tied up in 2017.

The 15th season of the Endemol Shine Italy production will use the new system for video, audio and editing. The Big Brother Italy house contains 106 cameras, 96 of which will be in HD using the new tech. Filming can now be controlled remotely. There is also automated sound mixing and a faster editing system.

Big Brother Italy debuts today in prime time on Canale 5.
