The quiz shows Bridge of Lies and Celebrity Bridge of Lies have both been recommissioned for new seasons for BBC One and iPlayer.

With Ross Kemp as host, Bridge of Lies will start filming its 25×45-minute fourth season for daytime later this year. Celebrity Bridge of Lies is being extended to a 10×45-minute third season for its Saturday night slot.

Both series will again be produced by Bridge of Lies creators STV Studios, with Gary Chippington, creative director of STV Studios Entertainment, continuing to serve as executive producer. International format sales, outside of the U.S., are handled by BBC Studios.

Kemp said: “They’ve made versions in America and Spain recently, but Bridge of Lies is coming home in 2025—and I’m nearly as excited as I was when England made it to the Euros final!
“I’ve had a lot of fun hosting this show for the past three years, and I’m really grateful we’ve been asked to make more episodes than ever before with the new commissions. If you fancy taking on the bridge, please get in touch with us, and I could be seeing you in the studio very soon…”

Rob Unsworth, head of BBC Daytime and early peak commissioning, commented: “Series four! We’re so happy audiences love Bridge of Lies as much as we do; it was such an easy decision to bring it back for more. Ross does a brilliant job making contestants feel at ease when they’re under pressure, and there’s still time to apply to be in this series, so if you think you can beat the bridge, get your applications ready.”

Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of commissioning for entertainment, commented: “Bridge of Lies is such a hit with audiences. It’s the perfect program to sit down with the family and start your Saturday night of entertainment. This series will be packed full of specials that all ages will be able to enjoy and play along to!”

Chippington said: “It’s been such a pleasure seeing Bridge of Lies quickly grow from launching as an unknown new daytime quiz to becoming a bona fide hit show with an avid viewership across the U.K., and I’m delighted that the BBC has commissioned a record number of episodes for 2025.”
