Avatar Singing Competition Series Bowing on FOX

Alter Ego, a first-of-its-kind avatar singing competition series, is slated to premiere this fall on FOX.

In the show, the contestants, instead of singing as themselves, will perform as their dream avatar. They’ll get a chance at reinvention while showcasing their performance styles via motion-capture technology. Alter Ego’s panel of judges will include Alanis Morissette, Grimes and will.i.am, and will be hosted by Rocsi Diaz.
