Armoza Formats’ docu-reality show Marry Me Now has been commissioned for a first season in all 46 territories of sub-Saharan Africa.

Marry Me Now looks on as determined women prepare their own weddings in just a few days without the knowledge of their grooms-to-be. The show is produced by Armoza Formats and Zipi Rozenblum. Thirteen episodes will broadcast on one of M-Net’s flagship channels, 1Magic, starting in November.

Reneilwe Sema, the director of local entertainment channels at M-Net, said: “Marry Me Now is a relationship show packed with entertaining twists and turns. Every time the audience thinks they know what’s next, it presents them with jeopardy, tension and dramatic reveals. It offers the fun viewing our 1Magic viewers have come to enjoy.”

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, added: “We are thrilled that Marry Me Now will be airing on 1Magic, a channel that has had strong success with wedding and relationship shows, and are looking forward to working with M-Net to make this show a hit in Africa.”
