More Greetings From 19XX Coming to Belgium, Denmark

The retrotainment format Greetings From 19XX, developed by Belgian production company Lecter Media, has been recommissioned by VTM in Belgium and TV2 in Denmark.

The Dutch-language Belgian channel VTM commissioned its sixth season of the format, while in Denmark, a third season will air on TV2. The format has also been adapted in the Netherlands (RTL4), Sweden (TV4) and Germany (ZDF).

The format, represented by Be-Entertainment, sees one celebrity family per episode who experience a weekend as though it took place in the year the celeb was 12 years old. With hairstyles and clothes following the latest trend of 19XX, they will be staying in a house that is decorated for the time, with no cellphones or other modern-day devices around.
