Anna Carugati to Moderate All Together Now, Phone Swap Sessions

On Saturday, April 7, during MIPFormats, World Screen’s Anna Carugati will moderate back-to-back sessions that explore the success of the formats Phone Swap and All Together Now.

Taking place in the Palais des Festivals’ Debussy Theatre, Tom Wright, the CEO of Vertical Networks, will take part in a case study examining Phone Swap from 4:15 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. Phone Swap is the first Snapchat series produced by Elisabeth Murdoch’s Vertical Networks and is part of a growing slate of originals developed for Snapchat. Wright and Carugati, World Screen’s group editorial director, will discuss the keys of the format’s success.

Immediately following, from 4:35 p.m. to 4:55 p.m., Peter Salmon, the chief creative officer at Endemol Shine Group, will take part in a case study of All Together Now. Carugati and Salmon will examine the ins and outs of the prime-time entertainment format, created in the U.K. for BBC One and already sold to Seven in Australia.
