FOX Greenlights Superhuman as Full Series

LOS ANGELES: FOX has ordered eight one-hour episodes of Superhuman, following a two-hour special that aired in January.

Superhuman is an unscripted competition series that tests the abilities of ordinary people to use their extraordinary skills. Kal Penn, who was also part of the special that aired in January, will return to host the all-new episodes.

The show was originally produced by Endemol Shine Germany as The Brain (currently in its sixth season). The format has also been adapted with success in China (third season), Italy (second season), Brazil (second season), Spain and, most recently, France (third season).

Rob Smith and Georgie Hurford-Jones, with the production company Endemol Shine North America, and David Friedman will return to executive produce the new episodes.
