Finite Films & TV Launches Unscripted Division

Finite Films & TV has launched a new unscripted division with Wings & Waves, a brand-funded celebrity competition series in Italy.

Set to be released on North Sails Kiteboarding’s YouTube channel this month, the format features six celebrities engaging in kiteboarding and wing foiling activities, with guest judges Francesca Maini and Matteo Dorotini determining the winner.

The six celebrity contestants taking part in the first Italian series are activist and content creator Martina Ragozza, content creator Matteo Pelusi, silver Olympic medallist Giacomo Gentili, content creator Gianmarco Millo, presenter and content creator Samara Tramontana and model and content creator Gioele Arreghini. The contestants are coached by water sports experts Jett Bradshaw, Oswald Smith, and Fabian Muhmenthaler.

North Sails funded the production, with Finite Films & TV holding production and distribution IP and format rights globally.

The format was created by Amy Gardner, founder of Finite Films & TV. “Wings & Waves takes televised sports to a new level,” Gardner said. “In each episode, the contestants are pushed outside their comfort zone, supporting each other throughout this once in a lifetime adventure.
