NHK World-Japan Producing Tiny Desk Concerts

NHK World-Japan is set to produce and air a Japanese adaptation of U.S. pubcaster NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts.

With a platform license from NPR, NHK World-Japan’s Tiny Desk Concerts Japan will see Japanese artists perform in an intimate setting with acoustics that match the atmosphere. The inaugural broadcast will feature J-pop singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze.

Kaze will perform from the NHK Broadcasting Center in Shibuya, Tokyo.
