TVE Announces MIPCOM Deals

MADRID, October 18: TVE (Television Española) secured a
range of deals at MIPCOM last week, including licensing the serial Ana and
the Seven Kids to Kanal D in Romania and
the documentaries Nearby Paradises
and Enchanted Planet to ERT in
Greece.

In addition, TV Escola and TV Cultura in Brazil signed up
for the Spanish-language educational show Es español, while in Japan a DVD deal was closed with Orient
Films for the documentary Frank Gehry.

Other MIPCOM deals include the sale of the features Lady
Nitwit and Blue Days to MTV in Hungary and The Lone Woman to RTVS in Slovenia.
