Walter Presents Picks Up ZDF Studios Titles

ZDF Studios has licensed a range of scripted titles for the U.S. and U.K. to its long-standing partner Global Series Network (GSN), which is behind the VOD service Walter Presents.

The deal for the U.S. includes the award-winning title The Shadow and the chilling Danish series Suplex. Headed for the U.K. market is season three of Sløborn, which tells the story of a group of islanders confronted with a fatal virus, along with The Shadow and a number of relicensed series.

Yi Qiao, Director Drama for ZDF Studios, said, “GSN is very discerning when choosing titles for its video-on-demand service, so I’m delighted that these critically acclaimed dramas will be entertaining overseas audiences on Walter Presents.”
