Narcos Gets Companion Mobile Game

LOS ANGELES: FTX Games and Gaumont Television have unveiled Narcos: Cartel Wars, an exclusive free-to-play mobile game tied to the Netflix drama Narcos.

The game’s official launch coincides with the premiere of the show’s second season, available on Netflix today. Narcos: Cartel Wars is available for download now on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android phones and tablets via Google Play.

“As fans of Narcos ourselves, we’re thrilled to be able to allow other fans the opportunity to enter the world’s most dangerous occupation from the safety of their phone or tablet,” said Casey Dickinson, FTX Games’ VP of publishing and general manager. “We’ve had fantastic support from fans of the show through the development process and we’re looking forward to sharing the game with a wider audience now that we’ve officially launched.”
