Lark Productions Takes TV Rights to Still Mine Series

Lark Productions has acquired the exclusive television rights to Amy Stuart’s critically acclaimed Still Mine book series, which includes the eponymous first book and sequels Still Water and Still Here.

The series follows Clare O’Dey, an unexpected investigator who is searching for the truth about the suspicious disappearance of a local woman in a small mining town, where everyone seems to be implicated. On the run from her abusive husband, Clare confronts her own demons and journeys from victim to survivor while discovering a new sense of purpose. In the sequels, Clare uses her newfound investigative skills to unravel new disappearances.

The Still Mine project will be developed and produced by Lark Productions, in which NBCUniversal International Studios, a division of the Universal Studios Group, owns an equity stake. Cobie Smulders (Stumptown, Avengers, How I Met Your Mother) will serve as executive producer, while Lara Azzopardi (The Bold Type, God Friended Me) is attached to adapt the project for TV and serve as showrunner and executive producer. Stuart will act as co-executive producer.
