TV-Loonland Scores Deals for The Owl

MUNICH/LONDON, October 26: TV-Loonland has secured a raft of
content deals for its one-minute interstitial series The Owl, including a multi-territory agreement with Jetix.

Following the recent pick up the series by the BBC, The
Owl
has scored a series of new deals
including a pan-regional pay-TV rights agreement with Jetix, covering the U.S.,
Latin America, the Nordic territories, Japan, India and Pakistan. TV-Loonland
has also licensed the pay-TV rights to French broadcaster Canal J and Mini Mini
Poland.

The Owl will also be
seen in Canada on free- and pay-TV on YTV and Société Radio Canada (SRC).
Free-TV rights have also been picked up by VEO TV Digital Spain, DR TV Denmark
and the polish preschool channel Canal + Cyfrowy.

Additionally, home-video rights have been sold to Universal
Family Entertainment in Germany.

Non-exclusive mobile rights for the U.K. have been granted
to Player X, with Vivendi Mobile Entertainment picking up rights for France.
Bonsai Channel in Italy has acquired the free video-on-demand and IPTV rights.

A co-production with Paris-based Studio Hari and France 3, The
Owl
is a CGI series featuring the daily
challenges of one unfortunate owl.
