TuTv Rolls Out Spanish-Language VOD Package

LOS ANGELES, July 11: The Grupo Televisa and Univision
Communications joint venture TuTv is set to begin offering to cable and
satellite platforms in the U.S. a video on demand package delivering 100
Spanish-language titles.

TVN Entertainment has been appointed to provide encoding,
asset management and distribution services for the package, which launches on
Cox Communications this fall. The films are being made available for the first
time in the U.S. via VOD, and will be offered to TuTv affiliates without
charge. At any given time, five movies will be available to subscribers.

TuTv operates the
movie networks De Película and De Película Clásico and the music channels
Telehit, Ritmoson Latino and, Bandamax.
