Turner Broadcasting Appoints New Marketing Executive

LONDON, July 3: Turner
Broadcasting has named Barnaby Dawe as its VP of marketing and communications
for all Turner Entertainment brands in the U.K.

Dawe, who has worked in
media marketing for 15 years, formerly served as the managing director of Heart
FM, where he created a new brand vision for the company. In his new role at
Turner, he will oversee the marketing and communications strategy for its
entertainment channels in the U.K.

"The U.K. is Turner's
biggest market outside North America and they have ambitious plans for growth,”
Dawe said. “I'm excited about taking on this challenge and integrating the
marketing strategy into those growth plans."

Dee Forbes, the senior VP
and general manager of Turner Broadcasting for the U.K. and Ireland, said:

experience with him. He has the expertise to optimize our brand positioning in
