Tricon Repping New Rob Schneider Comedy

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television is set to launch the scripted comedy Real Rob!, from comedian Rob Schneider, for international buyers at this year’s MIPTV.

The series, slated to begin filming its second season this summer, is an exaggerated depiction of Schneider’s real life. The show stars Schneider, who lives in two worlds: one where he’s the most important person on set, and the other, where he’s the third most important person in a three-person household, after his 2-year-old daughter and his younger Mexican wife. From Out of Florida produces the series, which is written, produced, directed and self-financed by Schneider.
