Tricon Names Manager of International Sales & Acquisitions

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television has appointed Nick Solowski to the newly created position of manager of international sales and acquisitions.

Solowski’s duties will include new acquisitions for Tricon’s catalogue, as well as in-flight sales initiatives and content sales to Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Most recently, he was the in-flight entertainment manager at Spafax Canada, where he was responsible for the acquisition and programming of in-flight movie and TV entertainment on all Air Canada flights in addition to directing Air Canada’s enRoute Short Film Festival.

“Nick’s wealth of experience in film and television programming and distribution make him a great addition to our team as we continue to expand our international sales strategy,” said Jon Rutherford, the VP of international sales and acquisitions of Tricon Films & Television.
