Todd Miller Exits SPT Asia

HONG KONG/CULVER CITY: Todd Miller, a veteran of the Asian pay-TV business, is stepping down from his post at Sony Pictures Television, where he oversaw the company’s networks in the region.

Miller resigns as executive VP of networks, Asia Pacific, effective April 15. During his tenure at Sony he spearheaded development and operations of the AXN, Animax and SET channel brands, as well as the ONE and PIX services. "Todd has brilliantly guided our networks business in Asia-Pacific and made a tremendous contribution to the company," said Andy Kaplan, SPT’s president of networks. "While we are sad to see him go, Todd has certainly earned a break and we wish him only the best in his future endeavors."

“It’s been a thrilling tenure with Sony,” Miller said. “After helping SPT build and operate winning businesses in Asia for nearly 17 years, and with Sony’s networks on top in Asia, this is the right time for me to take an extended sabbatical from the corporate world. I plan to focus on family, to deepen my involvement with Asian children charities, and do some more cycling in my quest to ultimately circumnavigate the planet on two wheels.”
