TNA Wrestling Inks New Distribution Deals

NASHVILLE, June 6: TNA Wrestling
has reached new agreements to supply its wrestling programming to Spanish
terrestrial broadcaster Antena 3 and Portuguese pay-TV sports network Sport TV.

Negotiated by RDA TV, TNA’s exclusive worldwide television rights
agency, these deals follow TNA’s recent agreements in the U.K. with Bravo and
in Germany with Premiere.

Antena 3 has acquired TNA programming such as TNA iMPACT!, TNA’s weekly
flagship program, for broadcast on terrestrial television in Spain on Saturdays
and Sundays starting June 21. Neox, Antena 3’s market-leading digital channel,
will air TNA pay-per-view events and TNA’s library of classic pay-per-view
events and iMPACTs.

Meanwhile, Sport TV in Portugal, which reaches 570,000 subscribers, has
acquired more than 200 hours of TNA programming in an agreement through 2008
and 2009. This marks the first time that TNA programming has aired in the
country. TNA iMPACT! will air on Friday nights at 10 p.m. on Sport TV3,
beginning today. Sport TV3 will also exclusively air TNA’s monthly pay-per-view
events, three days after their live recording, beginning with Slammiversary on Wednesday,
June 11.

Dixie Carter, the president of TNA Wrestling, commented: “In the next 12
months, TNA will emerge as the dominant wrestling brand in Spain and Portugal.
We are delighted to be working with two of the leading broadcasters in Europe,
and thrilled to bring our unique form of entertainment to our Spanish and
Portuguese fans.”
