WASHINGTON/MUMBAI, November 9: TinselVision, an online VOD
channel targeted at South Asian audiences, has inked a deal for the digital
distribution of Bollywood films from India’s Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Through the agreement, TinselVision has obtained the rights
to distribute, via a dedicated “YRF Zone” on its online service, movies from
Yash Raj Films' library including Darr, Dilwale
Dulhania Le Jayenge
, Dil To Pagal
Hai
, Mohabbatein, Silsila,
Saathiya, Salaam
Namaste
and Fanaa.

This is the third major content alliance TinselVision has
secured among Indian networks and producers, following deals with Zee
Entertainment Enterprises' Zee TV and STAR India. TinselVision expects to
announce additional content agreements in the coming days.

TinselVision, a service of Tinsel Cinema, is a Washington,
D.C.- and Mumbai-based VOD provider that delivers Bollywood and South Asian
movies, television series and sporting events via IPTV to PCs, laptops, TVs and
mobile devices to South Asian households in the U.S., the U.K., Canada and
other global markets.

Pankaj Bhushan, the VP of sales and marketing for
TinselVision and the executive who brokered the deal, noted: "Yash Raj
Films understands blockbusters and box office sales. TinselVision understands
hockey stick growth and recurring revenues. Together, we are laying the
groundwork for a big win-win. The YRF Zone expands our content investment
tactics from television to film and, might reveal an early glimpse of news to
follow in the other content genres."
