Time Warner Cable, CBS Corp. Reach Deal

NEW YORK, January 6: A
retransmission consent and carriage agreement between CBS Corporation and Time
Warner Cable announced today includes CBS and Showtime participating in the
platform's Start Over and Look Back enhanced video services.

Time Warner Cable has
extended retransmission consent for CBS's owned and operated television
stations and has extended its carriage of Showtime Networks' programming
through 2013. In addition, both CBS and Showtime will be part of the Start
Over—where a program can be restarted during a live broadcast—and
Look Back—where a previous broadcast during the day can be
viewed—features. Plus, CBS and Showtime content will be included in Time
Warner Cable's VOD slate.

pleased to have reached this agreement, which recognizes the value of our
programming to Time Warner Cable and its subscribers," said Leslie
Moonves, the president and CEO of CBS Corporation. "The CBS Television
Network and Showtime are an essential component of any meaningful programming
lineup. We are pleased that Time Warner Cable and its subscribers will continue
to enjoy our programming for many years to come."

Melinda Witmer, the
executive VP and chief programming officer for Time Warner Cable, added:
