The N Mobile Launches on Sprint

NEW YORK, January 4: The N
has launched its mobile service on the Sprint Vision and Power Vision networks,
marking the teen network’s first presence on a wireless platform.

“Teens are increasingly on
the go and some of the heaviest wireless users,” said Paul Jelinek, the VP of
digital media products at MTVN Kids and Family Group. “We are now able to
provide them with a new way to interact with their favorite personalities and
programming from the network, to further extend The N experience beyond the
home.”

The N Mobile will offer a
combination of video clips and behind-the-scenes content from the Viacom-owned
cable channel’s hit shows, including Degrassi: The Next Generation, South of
Nowhere
and Beyond the Break. All of the content on Sprint will be refreshed on a
weekly basis. The service is available on select Sprint multimedia phones to
Sprint Vision and Power Vision subscribers for an additional $4.95 per month.
