Tepuy Show Tops Novela Screenings

CANNES, October 12: Tepuy International’s Accessory to
Love
was the most screened title at the
Telenovela Screenings held on October 7 and 8 in Cannes, ahead of MIPCOM.

Second on the list was Endemol’s Double Life, followed by Tepuy’s 30, RCTV’s Descarado and Dori Media’s Juanita is Single. Other popular titles included Globo TV
International’s Belissima and America, Televisa Estudios Limitless Love, Postcode,
Duel of Passion and I
Love Irresistable Juan
, Caracol’s Without
Breasts There is No Paradise
, Telefe’s The
Name is Love
, RCN’s Til Money
Drive Us Apart
and TV Azteca’s Champions. A total of 92 programs were presented, a 31-percent
increase, and screenings on site increased 34 percent to 2,103.

The Telenovela Screenings, now in its second year, posted a
60-percent increase in registered companies, to 88, and a 34 percent increase
in registered participants, to 133. Buyers were up 35 percent to 84, but
sellers were down 3 percent to 36.
