TENA Names New Regional Director of Interactive Media

HONG KONG, March 5: Turner
Entertainment Networks Asia (TENA) has appointed Benjamin J. Grubbs as the
regional director of interactive media, a newly created post.

Grubbs will helm the
division’s interactive development strategy by creating and executing more
innovative, first-in-market initiatives. He will oversee the development and
management of TENA’s interactive business, which has recently witnessed
increased investment from the company for its online offerings to engage more
users and offer a unique platform for targeted “websumer” interaction. Grubbs
will be tasked with facilitating audience aggregation through interactive
applications, in order to extend the presence of Cartoon Network, Turner
Classic Movies, POGO, Boomerang and HBO India, as well as interactive
entertainment content across multiple platforms.

Grubbs has ten years of
communication experience with a range of media including Internet, broadcast
and cable television, radio, film, magazine and newspapers. He arrives at TENA
from eBay, where he was most recently marketing director for Hong Kong and
Macau.
