Tellenbach Exits SBS

LUXEMBOURG, March 15:
Markus Tellenbach has stepped down from the board of directors at SBS
Broadcasting, about 15 months since exiting the CEO position for “personal
health reasons.”

SBS has been led by
Patrick Tillieux, COO and acting CEO, since March 2006.

Tellenbach joined SBS
Broadcasting in February 2001 as COO and was appointed CEO of SBS in August
2002, a position he held until December 2005. During his tenure, SBS grew
revenues from 479.9 million euros in 2001 to 879.5 million euros in 2005 and
EBITDA from 20.9 million euros in 2001 to 144.8 million euros in 2005. He was
also instrumental in the August 2005 sale of the company to KKR and Permira for
2.1 billion euros. The company is expected to be combined with Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1
Media, which KKR and Permira recently acquired.
