Televisión Española Slate on Offer at MIPTV

MADRID: The RTVE sales team will be at MIPTV with a slate of programming from Televisión Española.

RTVE will be highlighting Love in Difficult Times, a daily series currently in its sixth season in Spain, and will be holding a special event for clients in celebration of the series’ 1,500th episode on April 5. Love in Difficult Times stars Itziar Miranda and Manuel Baqueiro are scheduled to attend.

New fiction series April 14, The Republic, which tells stories of impossible love set in Madrid, and Vintage, the story of two wine-growing families and their secrets, will also be on offer.

RTVE is also launching the first TV movies from Televisión Española, including Clara Campoamor: The Neglected Woman, a film about the vindication of women’s rights, and Operation Checkmate, a story about the kidnapping of Ingrid Betancourt by the FARC.
