TELETOON Stocks Fall Slate

TORONTO: Four new series are to join the daytime lineup of Canada’s TELETOON, while two new shows will be featuring in the post-9 p.m. schedule.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars makes its premiere on TELETOON on September 7, airing regularly Monday to Friday at 5:30 p.m. The second season will air this fall. TELETOON’s first original production, Majority Rules, joins the Thursday lineup on September 10 at 8 p.m. The show will air regularly as part of the three-hour Really, Really, Really Awesome block. Making its Canadian debut on September 13 is Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5. Inspired by the popular line of toys, the series takes a regular 8 p.m. Sunday slot as part of the Action Force lineup. Also making its debut in Canada, The Super Hero Squad Show kicks off September 13, joining the Action Force roster as well.

For teens and adults, every night at 9 p.m. Futurama kicks off the evening schedule, followed by new series King of the Hill at 9:30 p.m. and new American Dad episodes follow on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursday nights at 10 p.m., viewers are presented with a movie that fits within a monthly theme, while Friday night at 10 p.m. action or superhero films are screened.

On the weekend, TELETOON Detour presents comedy hits on Saturday nights between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. The new series Xavier: Renegade Angel comes to TELETOON along with fresh episodes of cult shows such as Aqua Teen Hunger ForceThe Venture BrosFrisky Dingo and Metalocalypse. On Sunday nights from 10 p.m., classic episodes of Bromwell HighRick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in the World and John Callahan’s Quads! will air.
