TELETOON At Night Delivers New Animated Comedy

TORONTO: The Dating Guy is a new animated comedy series that is set to launch October 17 during TELETOON At Night, the Canadian channel’s post-9 p.m. time slot geared toward young adults.

The 26×30-minute series features the voice of a host of Canadian actors, as well as guest appearances by Russell Peters and Howie Mandel. The show follows four friends on their weekly hunt for love, or something of the sort. It was co-produced by marblemedia and Entertainment One (eOne) for TELETOON.

"The Dating Guy is a great addition to our new fall line-up for TELETOON At Night, giving viewers a hilarious, edgy and irreverent take on the 20-something dating scene," said Carole Bonneau, the VP of programming at TELETOON. "We are particularly excited to launch this series with a unique, content-heavy online extension including two web series and an extensive website."
