MIAMI: Among the highlights on Telemundo Internacional‘s slate for the Asia Television Forum are Beautiful but Unlucky and Where is Elisa?

In Beautiful but Unlucky, Lola was born marked by misfortune and bad luck. The most desired bachelor in town falls for her, but their love is torn apart by greed and envy of those who surround them. Lola’s destiny takes a surprising turn, however, and she finds herself transformed into a beautiful millionaire and is willing to fight for the love of her life. Where is Elisa? is about a young girl who disappears on the night of her father’s birthday. The police suspect she is the victim of a kidnapping and all of her relatives—uncles, parents and cousins—will be under investigation. 

Karkú, aimed at teens, follows a 13-year-old girl who is sent by her parents to live with her uncles in the city. She discovers the importance of true friendship while attending one of the most prestigious schools in town. Fallen Angel is the story of a young man who never met his father and was raised torn between his mother’s love and the wild streets of New York. He becomes an expert theif, and falls in love with his attorney, who is engaged to a man he has sworn to destroy.

Victorinos is the story of three men who were born the same year, same month, same date and same time. They are of different social classes, and yet are tied to the same destiny. Generation Y is a telenovela that follows the story a beautiful young woman whose life is changed radically when she and her mother are forced to move to Mexico City and live with her rich aunt. She must confront a world of excesses and temptations, and risks losing her way by letting herself go to peer pressure. 

Simply Delicious revolves around two families—the Bellinis of Italian origin and the Cassoulets of French roots—who have always hated each other. Nevertheless, a love forms between members of these opposing families.
