Telefe Names New International Business Director

BUENOS AIRES: Telefe International has appointed Fernando Varela as the network’s international business director.

Varela will lead the content sales, formats and international production area, to which Michelle Wasserman, the head of the area, and her team report. Varela will look to develop new business and increase content penetration, with an eye toward new platforms. He has more than nine years of experience in the company, negotiating different types of contracts for the industry.
