NEW YORK: This fall, Nickelodeon is debuting a new nighttime block on TeenNick titled The ’90s Are All That!, featuring a number of shows from the channel’s 1990s live-action and animated library.

The new nighttime lineup includes shows such as All That, Clarissa Explains it All, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Rugrats, Rocket Power, Salute Your Shorts, The Amanda Show and Kenan & Kel. Feature films from the decade, as well as forthcoming acquisitions, will also be included.

According to Nickelodeon, the programming block was developed due to the overwhelming demand from fans for the network’s original 1990s series. Nick’s Facebook page for 90s programming boasts more than 9 million fans.

The ‘90s Are All That! is set to air this fall Monday through Saturday from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. TeenNick’s viewers will also have the chance to influence the lineup by requesting their favorite series and episodes through social media sites set up by the network, including on the network’s Facebook fan page.

Keith Dawkins, the senior VP and general manager for Nicktoons and TeenNick said of the development: "There is an entire generation of young people who literally grew up on these great 1990s’ series, and many of them have been vocal about wanting to see and experience these shows again. TeenNick caters to the older segment of the Nick audience, so it’s the perfect place to reconnect these shows to their original fans and introduce them to younger viewers for the very first time."
