Discovery and WarnerMedia are merging, with David Zaslav set to lead the combined company.

First-quarter revenues at Discovery, Inc. rose by 4 percent to $2.8 billion, with distribution revenue gains in the U.S. and improved ad revenues internationally.

While total revenues slipped by 4 percent to $2.6 billion in the third quarter at Discovery, Inc., net income rose by 15 percent to $300 million.

Overall revenues at Discovery, Inc. fell by 12 percent to $2.5 billion in the second quarter, with net income dropping by 71 percent to $271 million.

Total revenues at Discovery, Inc. were down 1 percent to $2.7 billion, with net income down 2 percent to $377 million.

Fourth-quarter profit at Discovery, Inc. rose to $476 million on revenues that were 2 percent higher at $2.9 billion.

The RTS Cambridge Convention featured an International Keynote from David Zaslav, president and CEO of Discovery, who talked about the move to direct-to-consumer; the company’s ambitions to serve global audiences through verticals across sport, lifestyle and factual; and the subjects that inspire him personally.

Second-quarter revenues at Discovery, Inc. were up slightly to $2.9 billion, with gains in the U.S. business partially offset by the impact of foreign currency fluctuations at the international networks.

Second-quarter net income at Discovery, Inc. fell from $374 million to $216 million as a result of restructuring charges from the Scripps Networks transaction, on combined revenues of $2.8 billion.

Discovery President and CEO David Zaslav has extended his employment contract through the end of 2023.
