Taffy Launches Multiplatform Kids' Service

LOS ANGELES, January 16:
Taffy Entertainment has launched Kabillion, a multiplatform kids’ destination
that includes a free broadband site and a video on demand channel.

The service was developed
in conjunction with REMIX Entertainment Ventures. It offers animated and
live-action kids fare and is now available to digital cable subscribers
nationwide on Comcast Cable systems, with additional systems to be added in the
near future. Future plans also call for offering mobile, gaming and wireless
platforms.

The initial programming
lineup includes the CGI comedy Pet Alien and the anime trading card-themed Mix Master: King of Cards, among others. Content will be culled from the
Moonscoop and Mike Young Productions catalogs, as well as third-party
acquisitions.

"Kabillion will
transform how kids experience media, allowing them to engage in a more
interactive and dynamic way, across a range of platforms,” said Bill Schultz,
the co-CEO at Taffy Entertainment. “Taffy Entertainment will supply first
class, award-winning programming through its global production pipelines at
both Moonscoop and Mike Young Productions. Key acquisitions will also play an
important role and we anticipate some important announcements to that effect
very soon."

The network is
advertiser-supported and already has signed key sponsors.
