Sundance Channel to Cover Venice Film Festival

NEW YORK: AMC/Sundance Channel Global is to provide exclusive coverage of the 68th Venice Film Festival internationally on Sundance Channel, featuring interviews with celebrities and a behind-the-scenes look at the event.

Sundance Channel Presentes The Venice Film Festival, produced by Sundance Channel Global and 3DD Productions, will feature celebrity interviews, the buzz from the red carpet and coverage of the films competing and screening during the festival. There will also be newly produced specials devoted to some of Italy’s biggest film industry talent, including Sophia Loren and Roberto Benigni. The series will feature five half-hour specials and two hour-long specials, along with a range of interstitials to air throughout September. Sundance Channel’s global coverage starts September 3, marking the network’s first-ever original production devoted to the event.
