Studio B Productions Scores New Deals

VANCOUVER, October 1: Canada’s Studio B Productions has
announced a range of new international deals for its kids’ animated series Being
Ian
and Class of the Titans, covering more than a dozen territories.

Studio B Productions has closed a deal with LUK
Internacional for the fourth season of Being Ian, a series targeted at kids aged 6 to 11. LUK now holds the broadcast
rights to all 62 episodes of Being Ian for Spain, Portugal and Andorra.

In addition, Nelvana Enterprises, the international
distributor of the two series, has negotiated deals for Being Ian and the action-adventure series Class of
the Titans
. New broadcast deals for Being Ian included Zebracom (Colombia), FETV (Panama), MNet
(South Africa), Soread (Morocco) and TV Afrique (French-speaking Africa), all
of which acquired 52 episodes. In addition, MediaCorp TV12 (Singapore), Lativi
(Indonesia) and TELEPOOL (Switzerland) all acquired the first 26 episodes of
the series.

Ten new broadcast deals were closed on Class of the
Titans,
including ABC (New Zealand) and
MNet (South Africa), who acquired all 52 episodes. In addition, several
broadcasters picked up the first season, including RTE (Ireland), TSR
(Switzerland), TV7 (Bulgaria), ABC (New Zealand), MediaCorp TV12 (Singapore),
Colombia (Incomsa S.A.), Soread (Morocco and Africa), KM Productions (Middle
East) and DigiTurk (Turkey). Finally, Juita-Viden (Malaysia) acquired the first
13 episodes of the series.
