StarHub Bags EURO 2008 Rights

SINGAPORE, February 12: Singaporean cable platform StarHub
has secured the exclusive broadcast rights for the 2008 UEFA European Football
Championship (EURO 2008), which takes place in Austria and Switzerland from
June 7 to 29.

The agreement covers the 'live' telecast of all 31 matches,
from group phase to the final, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
The pay-TV operator also plans to offer the all matches in high definition.

StarHub, which operates 10 dedicated sports channels, also
holds the exclusive broadcast rights of the Barclays Premier League (BPL) for
three seasons, commencing from the current season.
