STAR Indian Channels Heading to U.S.

HONG KONG/HERNDON,
November 26: STAR has signed a deal to launch STAR
India PLUS, STAR India GOLD and STAR ONE in the U.S. across RCN's platform on
November 30.

STAR India
PLUS has been the number one general-entertainment channel in India for eight
consecutive years. The channel airs hit soap operas such as Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai and Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil, along with
reality and game shows like Nach Baliye
and STAR Voice of India. STAR India
GOLD offers a variety of Bollywood blockbusters that appeal to the whole
family, while STAR ONE features a diverse mix of Hindi entertainment
programming.

These channels
will be available in all of RCN's service areas that have been converted to the
company's all-digital network.
