SPT Bolsters Korean Distribution Team

HONG KONG: Sony Pictures Television has appointed Catherine Yi-Beom Park as executive director for distribution in the Asia Pacific, based in Seoul.

Reporting to Angel Orengo, senior VP of distribution in the region, Park will manage the sales team in the Korean office, licensing SPT’s television series and feature films to broadcast and new-media outlets.

“We are delighted to have Park on our team and are certain that her diverse and well-rounded professional background will lead our business to new heights,” said Orengo. Park joins SPT from stints at Sidus IHQ and CJ Entertainment.
