Sprint and Interscope Introduce Sprint Music Series

OVERLAND PARK/NEW YORK,
June 29: Sprint and Interscope Records have teamed-up roll out Sprint Music
Series for Sprint TV.

Featuring artists such as Busta
Rhymes, Dashboard Confessional, Keane, Mobb Deep, Olivia, Robin Thicke and
Wolfmother, the Sprint Music Series offers exclusive made-for-mobile studio
sessions, comprised of a three or four song performance and an interview.

It will be available on
Sprint TV’s Channel 33, free of charge, to all Sprint PCS Vision and Power
Vision customers with multimedia phones and data plans. The service launched on
June 23, with a performance by Dashboard Confessional, and will continue for
the remainder of the summer, for a total of nine weeks. Sprint will also be
offering the live recordings in music tones, video ringers, call tones and
full-song downloads, via their music store.

“Once again, Sprint is leading mobile
music by demonstrating new ways to enjoy artists on the one device that people
carry with them wherever they go,” said Sprint’s director of entertainment
product marketing, Alana Muller. “With nearly four million songs downloaded on
our Sprint Music Store since its unprecedented launch last October, customers
have clearly shown that music and mobile are a winning combination, and we are
committed to continuing to work with partners such as Interscope to push the
limits of the unique possibilities in this space.”
